The Sacrifice of Isaac is an example of shear obedience to the Lord. Isaac was the most important person in Abraham's life. When God asks Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, he does not understand. The awesome thing about Abraham is even though he doesn't understand why God would have him sacrifice his son, Abraham did as God asked and took Isaac to Moriah. Although Abraham was willing, God stopped him from sacrificing Isaac. Abraham showed God how much he loved and honored him. Abraham put God before his son and because of this God blessed him.
